Size 6 1/2 Sieber Agate Stacking Ring

Size 6 1/2 Sieber agate stacking ring. I chose a simple setting to accent the natural beauty of the Sieber agate.

Sieber agate, primarily found in the Siebertal valley of the Harz mountains in Germany, is actually a rare, glassy blue-grey or green copper smelting byproduct, or slag, from roughly 1400 years ago. It is not a true agate.

Details:
- Measures 1/2 x 5/8 inch
- The bezel is fine silver, while the backplate and ring shank are sterling silver
- The ring shank is 1.5mm wide
- Stacking ring - it sits up a little so you can add other bands around it
- Ready to ship in 1-2 business days

Process:
To create this ring, I use traditional silversmithing techniques including sawing, filing, soldering, hammering, and hand polishing.
